JULY MONTHLY MISSION: Back to School!

WHEN? Tuesday, July 24th & Thursday, July 26th

TIME? 6pm-8pm (both days!)

It's that time of year again! School will be back in session in August and there are children in need of supplies!

Mission Change is teaming up with Albany Housing Authority, Amerigroup, and United Way to help prepare our children for school who live in the McIntosh Housing and S. Van Buren housing area by helping provide school supplies and backpacks. Our goal is to serve 600 kids with backpacks with the supplies inside.

We will need volunteers at both locations to help with vouchers and giving out the Backpacks. This is also a time to get to know your neighbors! We are combining a Block Party and School Supply Drive to allow neighbors to come out and fellowship with one another.

There will be TWO dates for this mission, Tuesday - July 24th and Thursday - July 26th, both from 6pm until 8pm. There are TWO locations you can choose to come to one or BOTH!

**Tuesday, July 24th - 701 W. Society Ave.
(the building is located on the corner of N. Davis and W. Society)

**Thursday, July 26th - 500 S. Van Buren St.
(Close to the OLD Lincoln Elementary School on Corn Ave.)


SUPPLIES NEEDED:


- Crayons

- #2 pencils

- Colored pencils

- WIDE RULED notebook paper

- 3 ring binders with pockets

- Rulers

- Pencil cases

- Scissors

- Glue Sticks

- Folders with pockets & fasteners

- Book Bags

- Travel size hand sanitizer


ADDITIONAL ITEMS NEEDED:

- Toothbrushes

- Travel toothpaste

- Deodorant

- Lotion

- Socks (all sizes)
